About Course

The primary purpose of electro muscular stimulation (EMS) is to train muscles that have lost tone due to motor inactivity.

The Io S21 is an elective treatment that can be matched to all kinds of beauty and aesthetic problems thanks to the use of a “clean” current that is suitable for the type of planned treatment outcomes.
Io S21 allows us to have different work programs: “pre-set” automatic programs and free programs. Furthermore manuals programs for isometric treatments and micro currents.
Muscle stimulation: 7 different electric waves in which you can control power, frequency, time of action and pause. In pre-set treatments possibility of wave mixing.

This is what happens at a physical level: the peripheral nervous system gives the order for muscular movement but not the necessary energy, electrical stimulation works as a tool that activates muscle contraction. During muscle contraction, muscle draws energy from the surrounding tissue to move but above all from what it has as its immediate consumption (sugars). After that, the mechanism of Krebs cycle is triggered with the transformation of fat into fuel for the movement of our muscles.

Using an electro stimulator, the muscles are contracted 150 times more than normal exercise in the gym. In this way burning calories with electro stimulation becomes a quicker procedure, losing weight and allowing you to get back into shape easily.

Did you know? A 30-minute session with Io S21 is equivalent to a 3-hour session in the gym!
